What is the Haunted Fort?

Haunted Fort is the annual Halloween haunt hosted at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. The event features three different haunted houses within the reconstructed historic military buildings that once made up old Fort Abraham Lincoln. 

What are the Hours?

7pm - 11pm Main Event Nights on Fridays and Saturdays 
7pm - 11pm October 30th "Darkness Unleashed"
Entrance to the park for all ticket holders ends at 11pm each night. Entrance to the Haunted Houses will continue until 12am 

Is it Scary?

We do our absolute best to terrify you and your friends. Haunted Fort is North Dakota's #1 legendary fear event and Fort Abraham Lincoln is listed on the top 10 for most Haunted Places in North Dakota. Our goal is to make you scared. Really Scared. It's possible for scares to come from anywhere....

Will i be able to leave if I get to scared?

Yes. If at any point you wish to exit any of the haunted houses, just let one of our actors, event staff or park rangers know and they will escort you out. Please be advised, however, that there are no refunds.

Can the actors touch me?

Actors at the Haunted Fort are not allowed to touch you as you make you way through the Haunted House. The exception lies deep in the darkness of the "Guard House", actors are still not allow to physically touch you, but you may brush up along objects are sinister and will make your mind crazy. you may also be told to lie down in your own grave......

Is there an  Age Restriction? 

Haunted Fort is an intense and scary Halloween experience at Fort Abraham Lincoln. We DO NOT recommend children under the age of 13.
*Any child under the age of 6 will not be allowed entrance into the Haunted Fort event.
**For children 12 and under we recommend attending our Halloween Kids Bash held on Sunday Oct. 20th 2019
*** The Darkness Unleashed must be 16 years of age or older to attended 

How do i buy tickets?

Buying online is the cheapest and easiest way to purchase Haunted Fort tickets, guaranteed. You’ll save time and money.

How long is the wait?

Most nights the wait is around 30 mins to 50 mins before entering the Haunted Fort. To limit the sizes of crowds the night is broken into time slots. Purchase for the timeslot you want to attend. Arrive at anytime during that time slot. We do offer the General Admission Fast Pass and Ultimate FEAR Experience ticket which allows you quicker access through the main entrance.

What is the Darkness Unleashed? 

This one night only Darkness Unleashed is an ultimate extreme NO LIGHTS experience of the Haunted Fort! Each participant gets entrance to the Haunted Fort in groups of four each with one glow stick per person, and that is your only source of light as you navigate through the corridors and mazes of the Haunted Fort! Will you Survive?
