Interpreters and tourists alike reported eerie encounters, and as Fort Lincoln expanded, so did its tales of the unexplained. From the mysterious woman in a black dress to weeping voices along the boardwalk, the hauntings multiplied. The Birth of Haunted Fort: In 2002, we embraced the macabre side of Fort Lincoln and launched Haunted Fort. Blending history with horror, we transformed these historic buildings into a spine-chilling attraction, delving into the eerie and the terrifying.
